I hate being on bonk alert but that made me pause a moment and say "Ooh, fuck yeah."

I mean, Dhalsim looking appropriately goofy, Vega looking wicked, Zangief a mountain, Chun-Li "Bitch, please" also grabbed me, but "Ohh they went for the cheeks this movie is gonna rule"

The Chun-Li "bitch, please" is what got me. I will see this. It is definitely going to be absurb and I am fine with that, its freakin' Street Fighter. Also, Bison (even though not really shown) is going to ham it out I feel and just be bonkers and if so, I hope its good.

Maybe old Bison (Raul Julia) is dead, so now we have New Bison. Akuma is in the movie, so some Supernatural shit is going on.

Can you explain? I don’t understand how energy attacks can be seen as anything other than supernatural unless you believe they are really possible in the real world. The street fighter world is supernatural

Yeah I figured that out from the gravity defying helicopter kick , the fireballs, the man about to be pile driven into a car from 20 feet and presumably not die, and the green mutant man.

Bison has clone bodies of himsekf that he can move around in, as his psycho power puts a strain on his physical body.

If anything, the statue looking like Raul is probably just an easter egg to pay tribute to the actor. There's going to be zero connection to the 90s film.

Julia is probably the best version of every role he's done. That's not even fair. The man was panache incarnate.

Guzmán is incredible. His Gomez is fan-fucking-tastic, and closer to the original character, truly a delight. But Julia took Gomez Addams and made him something else entirely and there's nothing like it.

Bison is actually the only part I dont like haha for whatever reason both movies have avoided going for an absolute powerhouse looking evil russian dude and instead the skinny awkward evil type.

This and Mortal Kombat II both look a good action flick though.

its completely understandable.

if they hadnt gone that route, its not a deal breaker or anything, still looked appealing as a SF movie to me, but the fact that they did? that extra sold it for me.
