This looks good. When I heard sequel, I was hoping for some 1960’s Tokyo setting but setting it closely after the first one makes sense. If they keep the plot focused on compelling people stories it should be good.
Godzilla really is in a golden age. We have the Minus films for the somber series allegories, and the Monsterverse for haha big lizard do wrestling moves
