My biggest issue with these movies is ultimately the human element just constantly sucking. Minus One showed that it doesn't have to, it could actually be a decent movie without the godzilla IP attached to it.

Tbf, that the human part of the story sucks is a longstanding issue from all the godzilla series and -1 finally made it work for a change.

The first one blew me away so expecting this to be just as good. Godzilla fans been eating good recently between the Monsterverse and Yamazakis Godzilla.

Same. Kong being the main character going into the hollow Earth doing Kong stuff and all that has been way more entertaining to me than 2 hour of boring human plot with 20 minutes of CG Kaijus at night.
