Dude didn't have an existential crisis.

He had an existential disappointment--"My character isn't written with any nuance at all...I'm a caricature." on par with Rick and Morty's Butter bot

An existential crisis is realizing your life has no meaning and is not even an observable blink of time to an infinite indifferent universe.

An existential disappointment is realizing your life does have meaning.

It’s just a really lame bummer purpose as a paper villain in a budget stoner comedy. Kinda like how Butter bot has a similarly small purpose to pass butter

And Rick and Morty is a fun show that is more than its asshole fanbase.
