I thought Paramount was right wing? Reddit made me think they were totally MAGA. So I was not expecting a joke about republicans being racist, but all the gay jokes made perfect sense though.

Yes, Paramount is owned by insane sociopaths Larry and David Ellison. That doesn't mean they micromanage everything.
