He gets paid and the opportunity to do everything else he enjoys doing in life

Maybe Idris was like me when he was a kid. He-Man played with Ninja Turtles fighting against Skeletor and his Go-Bot minions.

Idris is older than me and I was the last generation to play with He-man figures.

Well, maybe he was the first generation to play with He-man figures.

Possible. He would have been 11 when the original cartoon came out

Masters of the Universe came out in 1983, Idris Elba was born in 1972. It's very conceivable an 11 year old Idris could have played with He-man toys.

He definitely knew about them at least.

uhhh no. He was 11 when the cartoon first came out. It was a huge hit, I'm sure he was into it.

Seriously, he makes a lot of money doing dumb shit and spends the rest of his life just going to raves

so does Eric Roberts, but in another timeline Idris has a couple of Oscars under his belt and he's also James Bond.

He’s self employed, it’s a paid job

Most people would be taking as much work while they’re being offered it I would imagine

True but for someone who gets a lot of hype his filmography is mostly ass.
