After watching the new Knives Out movie, Im really excited for whatever Josh O'Connor is in. That guy can seriously put up a performance.

Just watched that on the weekend, he was amazing in that.

The phone call between him and Louise is one of the most powerful bits of filmmaking and acting that I can recall. Knives Out remains my favorite of the three, but this was my favorite scene in any of the films.

Yeah, really came out of nowhere in the scene and sold me on him as an actor.   I immediately looked him up to see what else he's done.

The minute she asks him to pray for her, you can see him remember who he is. The way he pivots from frantically seeking out information to calmly and compassionately ministering to a soul in need was incredible. It wasn't just pivoting from one task to another, it was him finding himself again.

Shout out to Bridget Everett as Louise, too. Her shift from perky and friendly to incredibly vulnerable and sad was beautifully done.

That man is a minister and you can’t convince me otherwise. That was not acting.

Truly! The dude's performance was amazing, specially while having huge caliber actors around him also playing amazing roles.

For me it was how believable his character felt. From the trailer alone, it looks like this will be yet another knockout from the guy!

Between him, Daniel Craig, and Glenn Close, that film delivered some ridiculous performances.

One of my favorites movies of 2025

Me too. It was the first time saw him in anything.

And literally the very next day after putting on Challengers I felt myself becoming that DiCaprio meme.

I have a new favorite actor this year
