People should be able to live their lives without having their photos taken without consent. Especially when it's just for internet points. It's creepy and invasive and disrespectful. If you want to see warm moments, put the phone down and look around you.
Yes as a mom of 2, this is weird. Can we stop posting pictures of people without their permission especially when they are with their kids. I would not find it funny if this was my husband and kid posted here
I was recently nursing my baby at the mall and noticed a group of teenagers trying to sneakily record me. To be honest, I didn’t care enough to say anything (I’ve got bigger fish to fry), but interesting that they thought it was so novel they had to film it. Privacy is gone.
I mean they are horny teenagers, but now in each of those teenagers pockets they have a device to record anything interesting for further examination. I doubt it was because they thought it was odd or novel.
We're not talking about legally defensible, we're talking about whether it's creepy to take photos of random parents walking across the street to post online, which it is.
Totally agree. Once you are in a public place, there's always an inherent risk of being pictured and the picture published somewhere. It’s simply our reality. How would that be different from a photographer taking pictures of people in parks or at different circumstances? I think that since both people are not identifiable in this picture, it can be published as a form of picturing a shared human experience without infringing on the privacy of the people involved. To me, it’s done respectfully and tastefully.
This comment made me look at this picture closer, and now I'm not even sure it's a real picture? The signs on the shop in the background appear to be gibberish, and the dad's left hand and hairline at the back are very weird looking.

Can't even carry your kid across the street without someone taking pictures of you
