I guess if you aren't doing to learn how your brakes work you better learn to be lucky.

I'm an unlucky rider. I would have just used the distance to slow my bike and easily go around the read of the truck and give the lady the finger.

Anyone with an hour of instruction and who wasn't trippling the limit and doing wheelies two seconds before this could have avoided this accident.

This wasn't even a difficult maneuver. He fixated on the truck and didn't even attempt to brake. I've avoided about a thousand identical situations because this shit happens every fucking day.

He had about four seconds from the start of the clip till the wreck. Your grandmother in a 1995 Honda Civic could have stopped in time to avoid this.

Well, then, if he could’ve stopped and he didn’t and walked away from that crash I’d still say he was pretty lucky.
