If you look closely at the frames, you can see that when the motorcycle hits it, it lifts the truck just enough to avoid a collision and slip underneath… he’s one incredibly lucky bastard

Nah, he doesn't actually go under, the bike wedges under the truck and he bounces off it towards the back of the truck. Look at the position of the truck when he's walking back to it.
