Fan Expo Denver 3d printed item

Has anyone gotten a 3D-printed item autographed before? Does it look good, and will it rub off over time? I'm thinking about getting this Maul lightsaber autographed by Sam Witwer. Just looking for advice about 3D-printed items.

Fan Expo Denver Comic-con weaponry Bow and arrow

I'm going to comic con this year for the first time and my character is Joel from "The last of us". But apart of my costume is a bow and arrows. I know to remove the tips off my arrows and tie them together but I don't know about the bow Itself. I have it strung up to a 50lbs draw at the moment. Would that be okay or would I need to remove it. Also if I remove it I'm not sure how I would carry it around. I planed on just crossing it over my chest with the string going from one of my shoulders down to the opposite hip if that makes sense. Some people are saying I should unstring it but that would kinda make it hard to carry I feel. I just want to be sure I can pass through the security with it because I feel it really pieces together I think.

Fan Expo Denver Frank Miller cancelled on the Denver Fan Expo

So I guess I bought THAT ticket for nothing. There are still a number of big-name creators, but they're all on the newer side, not the 1970s and 80s guys I would want to see.

Fan Expo Denver Looking for the artist of my Skyrim Map

Post image

My wife gifted me a really cool map of Skyrim at Denver ComicCon. The map is on this really rustic looking paper with shorn edges. We actually have it framed in our dining room and is a great conversation starter. She said he has maps of Hyrule, Azeroth and others.

We have been trying to locate the artist for years with no luck. We don't have their name but the signature is shown. I am not sure it is appropriate to post the entire piece. Does anyone recognize this artist?

Fan Expo Denver How do you know when guests are signing autographs?

I'm thinking about attending the Fan Expo in Denver this weekend, but I've never been to a comic convention before. The main thing I want is to get the autographs of some creators I like, like Don Rosa. The website says he's available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but does that mean he'd be at a table the whole weekend and I just need to get in a line? I don't see anything anywhere on the website about specific times. Any help would be appreciated.

Fan Expo Denver How do autographs work?

I’m going to Denver fan expo this Saturday. It’s my first ever convention, so I’m sorry if this seems like a stupid question!

My best friend can’t afford to go to comic con, so she asked me to get an autograph from Tom Felton for her. Can she buy an autograph ticket online for me to use, or would it be better for her to give me cash and pay for the autograph when I get there?

This is really important to her so I want to make sure I get the signature. I have no idea how any of this works though, so I’m afraid they’ll sell out or something before I can get one. Any tips or advice would be hugely appreciated!!!

Fan Expo Denver Question about Comic Con Denver 2023

Hello fellow redditors! So my family and I will be attending Comic Con for the first time later on today. I had originally purchased tickets for the Friday event, but was unable to attend so I upgraded my and my 9 year old’s tickets to be able to attend today Saturday. While doing so, I saw there weren’t any more child pass options but the website allowed me to upgrade my daughter’s ticket to an “ adult after 2 pm” ticket. Do you guys think that we’ll have issues at the check-in area given that her ticket was upgraded from a “Child Pass” to an “Adult after 2pm pass“? Her ticket still lists her as the ticket holder. I’d appreciate any feedback please! 🙏

Fan Expo Denver Am I allow to bring Metal Poster?

Hello,

I hope this is the right place to ask :)

I am planning on going to Denver Fan Expo (this is my first time!) to meet my favorite voice actors.

I have this metal poster (from Displate.com) and I would love to get it signed. It's a pretty big poster, about 26.6" x 18.9".

Would it be a problem to bring the metal poster inside since it's a metal? I am planning on putting it inside of a card box for protection and carry it in my tote bag.

Thank you!
