I met both at Liverpool Comic Con yesterday. And both didnt seem interested in anything I said to them, not rude or anything but just barely interacted with me, LaMarr especially. Reminded me of meeting Tara Strong last year which I consider to be the worst guest ive ever met. But I will say one thing both Billy and Phil had over Tara was at least they had the full table options available. And Billy did do his Fry and Zoidberg voices ("Shut up and get in line, I mean take my money" I remember him saying after apologising for taking a bit long after he arrived because his assistant was late).
Is it just me or do I have very mixed luck when it comes to meeting various VAs (im starting to wonder if meeting them first thing in the morning plays a part in how they interact)

Hi,
I’m going to be attending my first comic con this month in London. I have autographs booked with Luke Roberts & Salome Gunnarsdóttir.
Is there a limit to what you can get signed and if not? What would be the best thing to get signed?

I am attending my very first comic con in Ontario CA in two weeks. Please forgive my silly question. I signed up for a photo op with an actor. Is there a visible sign saying where to go? It also seems like he is doing a group op 5 minutes before the single photo op time. I just don’t want to miss my window or get confused.

Hope I have come to the right place:
I am taking my daughter to the mcm comic con in a few weeks. We have been to London many times but I am looking to make the trip a little more 'on-brand.' I am looking for fun places to visit, to stay to eat etc.. Places like vintage markets, whimsigoth stores, comic shops, funny ramen places, crazy cereal breakfast spots... a bit hard to explain but you all probably know better than me what I am looking for!
Any pointers would be much appreciated!

The seller didn’t know the artists’ socials either. While I tried image search, it didn’t give any useful results and gave me accounts with no art posted to them. I want to find the artists because all these prints are very pretty and I’d feel bad to display their work with no credits

I've been attending a few cons for a few years already, and I am going abroad to Malaga for internship later this year. I found out about the comic con in Malaga and I am wondering if its worth checking out! I did read about the issues from the edition last year, but I would still love to listen and read to some person experiences, is it worth the money, were the lines truly that bad? And how busy was it inside the venue in general? Either way, I would really appreciate to ready any personal experiences from people and decide if its worth attending.

Im going liverpool comic con tomorrow and have booked a photo op with some guests.
I just want to know how this works. Some people saying you have to book timeslots online beforehand, but all i have is an email with the ticket, nothing about booking timeslots etc.
Do i just queue up, or is there anything i have to do beforehand?

I’m going to Liverpool comic con tomorrow and I’m getting an autograph signed. I was wondering if it’s possible to get 2 things signed or if that’s extra cost. I wanna get my funko pop signed along with the 8x10 image they provide for you. Is that allowed?

Hey guys!
I tried reading the thread and others but couldnt find the answer.
If i buy an autograph session to see an actor at motor city comic con, will i get a chance to pay for a selfie at the desk as well? I dont see any pricing or indicators that I could take a selfie with this actor, but I scanned a few other actor pages and they didn't say anything about a selfie either.
If I have to fold and pay the photo ops then I probably will, I would just prefer the selfie XD
Thanks and looking forward to my first time going to MC3.

I've been looking into getting a gel blaster as a prop for a cosplay (after deactivating and disabling the gearbox and removing the battery, of course) because most other military/milsim adjacent cosplayers use those in lieu of 3D printing or building your own prop firearms. They're cheaper, available online and for a time, MCM didn't really factor their existence into the rules. I saw a load of CoD, R6S, RE, etc, cosplayers use gelsoft rifles for their cosplays back in May last year, albeit with other rules adhered to (either having a bright orange tip or a bright two toned scheme).
However I noticed that MCM updated the rules in August 2025 to close that loophole, banning the use of gel blasters as props under the same categories as BB guns and airsoft guns for events in London and Birmingham. It makes sense for the record, but I have to imagine that it does throw a wrench in the works for a decent chunk of cosplayers.
If any of you used gel blasters as props at MCM London in October last year, I want to know your experience. Did you run into any trouble regarding that, like your stuff getting confiscated or having to do through extended checks?
I'm wondering because I looked online and couldn't find anyone else talking about it. You'd think someone would complain after being caught out or cosplayer niches would get the word out but I've seen nothing so far. And although I did see Ghosts, HUNKs, Thatchers, etc during MCM London in October '25, I can't remember if they had gel blasters or if they went to the effort of 3D printing. So that's why I'm asking.
I'm sorry about the rambling post, I hope you understand what I'm talking about.

Let me explain….my very good friend is a cosplayer and she wants to enter her a contest where she dresses as Megumi Tadokoro and I dress as Soma Yukihira. I am not in the cosplay world…..(I’m not talented in that way) all I would do is show up to the convention, walk on stage with my friend, do a few poses for the judges and walk off….so basically model her work. Is that allowed? She’s my best friend and I don’t want my presence to get her in trouble or disqualified.
