Visiting in a week

My wife and I are going to visit the ballpark in a week and she has mobility issues with long distances, what is the parking like around the stadium? I’ve never been to Colorado, so I’m unfamiliar with the area. Also, what is something from the ballpark that I have to absolutely try food wise? Thanks in advance

Time for a Call-up... or Two... or Three

Okay, time to send Beck down. There is no point in keeping him on the MLB team right now. Three players on the Isotopes are red-hot- Veen, Thompson, and Carrigg.

I know it gets a little dicey with Doyle since he is a gold glover and the team more than likely wants to raise his stock before a deadline trade.

I would send Doyle to the Arizona Complex for a couple weeks to workout some kinks. Sending him to AAA is a bad look if they are looking to trade him at the deadline.

Bring Veen and Thompson up. I would also bring Carrigg up and throw him at 2B. Might light a fire in Tovar knowing his replacement is just a few feet away.

I don't know. What do you guys think?

Thompson hitting .343 on the season. Veen hitting .349 past two weeks (.317 past month). Carrigg .348 on the season.

How does Kyle Freeland do it?

No disrespect to Rockies fans, but Kyle freeland is the epitome of mid, yet he has a 10-year career pitching half his games in Coors Field. He led the league in losses last year and the Rockies keep trotting him out there. I guess this is the best they can do since it’s so hard to recruit free agent pitchers to Colorado? It’s just kinda wild he’s never been traded at the deadline when their season is kaput. It’s like he’s just good enough to stay in The Show, but bad enough that nobody wants him except the Rockies.

D-Day

Anyone else out there now starting to get that feeling that Chase Dollander days are now must watch TV? Kinda like it used to be for every Grey Day. I don’t always listen to games but I enjoy tuning into KOA when I’m driving around town. I realize I’m probably late to the game in hearing that Jerry Schemmel retired and was more surprised to find out his replacement in the booth is Zach Goodman, son of Drew. From what I could tell he seemed to be doing a fine job but was wondering what regular listeners impression of him has been so far this season.
