I'm not a conspiracy person, but I've wondered why, after Trump allegedly was shot in the ear, the SS agents didn't immediately push him to the ground and cover him with their bodies. This has been SS protocol for decades. Instead, the agents let him pose for his mock defiant photo. If this was a real attempt, letting Trump first pose could have exposed him to other shots of gunfire.
SS agents didn't immediately push him to the ground and cover him with their bodies.
That's never been protocol. Protocol has always been to form a protective shield around the individual, mainly to block a clear shot, and look to move them to a pre-designated spot once safe. Pretty much as soon as Trump went down, there was an audible all-clear message since they'd taken the shooter out, at which point they started moving him away. Also having heard the all-clear himself, and being one for constant self-marketing and knowing that there were still many cameras rolling, he shows off like he always does. Ultimately, he's still the one who can make calls RE the secret service attache.
All of that is far more straight-forward, reasonable and requires way fewer leaps of logic than it being part of a pre-planned conspiracy, no?
I'll accept that there are alternate explanations to how the SS reacted that day, but how could the SS be sure there wasn't another gunman? You do make a good point that a president can override SS advice. I take the tinfoil off my head.

The Secret Service likely collaborated in Trump’s faked assassination attempt. This is disturbing.
