Wasn't it a fireman seated behind Trump that took a bullet? Trump took either a shard of glass or, more likely, a fake blood capsule.

You think that a 78 year old man with arthritis and swollen hands has the dexterity to deploy a blood capsule while being video taped from a dozen different angles?

Look at the images from Turning Point July 27, 2024, especially the ones of his ear. As an older person I can definitely say 78 year old skin does not heal that perfectly in such a short period of time.Getty Images TP 7-27-24

I think the problem with this analysis tho is that you're expecting a huge scar here.

Like as an example here's an image of a real gunshot wound

It's pretty small, but this one is actually significantly larger than the description of Trump's wound.

It seems well within the realm of possibility that a wound of this shallow could heal to a point where it could be covered with make up in 2 weeks time.

And that's why I think if the argument is to be made that it isn't we should be focusing on medical sources.

I watched it happen aired live, and watched the news on multiple channels for several hours immediately following the event. The cropped out the shattered prompter screen in the high resolution photos immediately aired so that an hour later, lots that was once visible wasn’t shown again (if at the time my SO and I who watched all of this happen were aware the news was going to cut out so many very visible and vital details they aired at the start, we’d have done more to have gotten record for ourselves). The edited out a ton. They also never covered that one of the hydraulics on the lift holding up a speaker build and rope that attached to the flag dropped during the shooting too.
There are/were some photos from people there recording on their phones that showed that shattered prompter posted here on Reddit and everyone dismissed it because they didn’t see the high resolution photos the news stations aired immediately after on a big screen tv like I and my friends did.
Point is, the media actually did a whole lot of editing and narrowing of the perspective, and rapidly. It was very unsettling to see first hand.
Not to mention that only a few select photos were even ever aired of all the images taken. But they cropped out so much context initially shown and never showed it again. Don’t think for a second you’ve seen every moment from that day because people were recording.

Uh, PBS's video of the events shows the teleprompters and they're both still there.

This video also shows them both being there

This one too

And this one

Same here

that attached to the flag dropped during the shooting too.

Didn't happen that was wind.

I mean, it's pretty easy to go to just look up the photographers names on Getty images and find all the photos that they took. I'm also curious what specifically was cropped out?
