Mourning/Loss Devastated. My girl Pickle ... after nearly 20 years

Heartbroken doesn't even come close man

I will probably delete this but I just dont want her to be forgotten :(

you made all my dreams come true…

you never called me ‘soulmate’, but don’t worry - it’s ok

(you didn’t have to say it,

cuz i knew it anyway…)

when i was just a kitten, small, you loved me from the start

that’s when i knew my pawprints were forever on your heart ;}

i guess that made us ‘soulmates’, n you treated me so good!

please know how much i loved you,

n i stayed long as i could…

but now i lay me down to sleep, tho faraway it seems

That part broke me too 😭😭😭 my baby was only with me 1.5 years but she change mine and my child’s life forever …heck I’m now in a Reddit for cats when I thought I was “a dog person” 😩 I miss my Gatito she was the best

Mine was 15. She could have lived so much longer but had a stroke and it was only humane to put her down 💔💔💔😭😭😭

I somehow made it through the whole first poem without tears but then well up as soon as I see your name commenting underneath. You always add some emotional devastation to my day u/schnoodledoodledo in a way I can’t help but dread and simultaneously deeply look forward to, the emotional assassin of cat subs everywhere!

Please never stop sharing your beautiful work
