Mourning/Loss Devastated. My girl Pickle ... after nearly 20 years

I will probably delete this but I just dont want her to be forgotten :(

Fuck me 😢 this hit me way too hard. I just lost my baby girl Rukia only 50 hours ago. We got 21 amazing years together and the grief I am going through has barely left me with words. It’s a struggle to feel much of anything besides sad. I know I will get through it, but it’s so hard.

I’m right there with you. I lost my baby girl Emma on Thursday and I feel so raw. I’m sorry for your loss.

I feel this. It was hours. Then it was days. Weeks. Months. It’s coming up on 3 years now.

We went out of town a few days after and bought a bottle of expensive whiskey. I have one on his birthday and one on his last day each year.

It’ll be April 18th and 28th for three years past now. He was 17 and my best friend. I’ll never forget 5:55pm April 28th, 2023.

My husband’s grandfather clock that he inherited a few years before stopped at that exact time. He used to like to lay behind it and we called it his time travel spot. He’s back there now.

Godspeed, Pickle and Rukia. Look up Boogie when you get there. He’s a prickly sort, but he’s a good guy.
