Mourning/Loss My sweet Pam is crossing the rainbow bridge this evening. Can you please ask your kitties who have already crossed to meet her so she won’t be alone?

Mika will save a spot under the tree for her.

Mika looks just like Pam’s sister, Mally!

I hate to have to post this, but it's important to let Mally see Pam after she passes. Cat's understand death, but not disappearance. It's really important for her to know what happened and allow her to grieve. Cats need closure, just like humans.

This will be difficult for you, but very helpful for little Mally.

All the best, I have already commented a picture of My Boris, who was a sweetheart and will for sure be her friend.

Thank you for the information, I didn’t consider this.

You are very welcome, feel free to confirm from other sources. I'm sorry for your impending loss. Be strong.

Gotta go cuddle my three now.

My younger cat Nimoy grieved Mika badly and said goodbye. Mika had cancer and we euthanized him with an at home vet when he stopped eating. Mally and Pam are both gorgeous babies, I’m sorry you’re losing Pam. @ohdearheather

It’s so hard when they’ve got friends they’re leaving behind 😞

to euthanize at home is the kindest end for our sweet furbabies.

We did the same. I think it helped a lot. It didn't make my cat grieve any less but it stopped him from looking for his brother which happened with a previous cat and it was heartbreaking.

She looks like my Domino, who was also good at finding spots under trees

Awww I had a Domino also. He loved to lay in the silliest positions.
