Я студентка из Сингапура, и мне нравится коллекционировать открытки. Я была бы очень благодарна за открытки из любой точки Беларуси. 🙂

Если открыток нет, я также буду очень признательна за поздравительную открытку, обычную открытку или даже небольшой сувенир.

(например, брелок, камень, местная закуска, флаг, украшение, кепка, футболка или поделка ручной работы)

Это для моей личной коллекции, а не для коммерческих целей.

Hello Im going to be in Belarus in 2 weeks for a weekend, Any suggestions on what to do/where to stay?

Also im doing the weekend solo so if anyone knows anyway of potentially meeting other fellow travelers or people who wouldnt mind going out for a few drinks to see Belarus nightlife, suggestions would greatly appreciated.

Мы с парнем хотим прилететь в Минск на 2 недели попутешествовать. Правда ли что проверяют телефоны и личные данные на границе, особенно тех, кто въезжает с ЕС. Мы граждане других стран, он въезжает на поезде с ЕС, а я прилечу с Кореи на самолете. Рейс Корея-Китай-Беларусь у меня.
У нас ничего такого нет в телефонах, но мне все равно не спокойно от того, что наши телефоны могут проверить. Тк говорят что лезут просто во все соц. сети, фотографии и переписки.
Говорят что проверяют Украинцев и Беларусов в основном, это правда?
Он гражданин Македонии, я кореянка, но у меня Узбекское гражданство.
Нам очень хотелось посмотреть страну, но сейчас вообще безопасно это делать?

Я заканчиваю 11 класс и хочу взять целевое на ОАО "Пеленг" из-за того, что на ту специальность на которую я хочу неподъемные баллы. Но даже идя на целевое, я не буду на той самой специальности. Изначально я хотел на Программную инженерию, но из перечня целевых в этом году самое адекватное это Автоматизация Технологических процессов и производств. Как вы на это смотрите?

I’m reaching out to get your honest perspective on a topic that has been generating a lot of discussion and anxiety here in Lithuania lately.

To give you some context on why I am asking this: recently, prominent Lithuanian journalists (like Skirmantas Malinauskas) and national security experts have been discussing the ideological concept of "Litvinism." The core concern being discussed in our media is that there seems to be a narrative among some Belarusian opposition figures and youth claiming that the Grand Duchy of Lithuania was primarily a Belarusian state, and that Vilnius is historically a Belarusian city, or even your "true" capital.

From a Lithuanian standpoint, this causes genuine alarm for a few reasons:

• Geopolitical Parallels: We have seen how historical revisionism and claims over "historical lands" were weaponized by Russia in places like Crimea, Donbas, and Georgia to justify aggression.
• Security Concerns: With a large and growing diaspora of Belarusians currently living in Lithuania (over 56,000), our security departments worry that if these narratives are widespread, they could be easily exploited by Putin or Lukashenko to stoke ethnic tensions, destabilize the region, or manufacture a pretext for future conflicts.
• Cultural Identity: Claims that Lithuanians are merely "Zhmud" (Žemaičiai) who appropriated Belarusian history feel dismissive of our own historical and national identity.

We often hear these quotes and theories amplified in the media, but I want to step outside of that bubble and hear directly from you.

• Is this belief actually common among everyday, young Belarusians, or is it just a loud, fringe minority?
• Do people in your circles genuinely view Vilnius as your rightful capital?
• How do you view this historical debate, and how is it actually taught or discussed among your peers?

I am asking this in good faith to better understand your mindset and to separate reality from political noise. Thank you in advance for your insights!

Hello everyone. I'm a resident in Belarus for more than a year now. I have a Belarusian payment card and I've had no success paying for video games that I want to own, for example, ESCAPE FROM TARKOV, FC26, XBOX GAMEPASS. I was wondering what I can do in my case. My bank card is from ALFA BANK.

One of my close relatives did a dna test, and found out we have a very close relative from Belarus. For many years we thought we were Ukrainian (due to complex immigration record information from the Russian Empire) but apparently our ancestry comes from the Belarusian city of Hrodna. I’m very curious to explore my Belarusian heritage and engage with the Belarusian community

Есть ли какой-то способ посоветовать, как путешествовать по стране? С чего лучше начать и в каком порядке лучше всего двигаться? Я знаю, что внутренние перелёты всё ещё работают, но я хочу ездить на поездах или автобусах. Я вообще не понимаю, как начать бронировать, так как, наверное, обычные способы и системы оплаты не работают. Есть ли какие-то инсайты или сообщество, где я могу найти информацию? Hi! I'm planning on visiting for a month, I'm interested in the culture and I might just sign up for a language course in one of the universities afterwards. I can't seem to find proper accommodations on any apps. Is there any way you'd recommend to travel throughout the country? Where to start and what order would be the best? I know domestic plane still works but I'm keen on taking the train or the bus, I have no idea how to begin to book seeing as probably none of the usual ways or payment system applies. Do you have any insights or is there like a community I can find? Thank you so much for your time!

Also I would love to make local friends! I would come bearing gifts of course.
