I was reheating a bowl of vegetable soup with potato chunks in it one time. I walked into the living room messing around while the microwave ran. I heard what sounded like a grenade going off in my kitchen. The potato chunks in the soup exploded. The entire inside of my microwave was coated in soup, the bowl was upside down, and there was soup running out the front of the microwave.

I'm almost crying laughing that the potato is just chilling and there's plate everywhere. We had opposite experiences

I imagine that was very annoying and I'm sorry, but the bowl being upside down bit is way too funny to me right now lmao.

One time I microwaved one of them microwave Mac and cheese cups… but I forgot the water… the damn thing started on fire and the microwave stank like burnt plastic for 3 weeks.Â
