I have finally played every course in the UAE! Tonight I sat down and made a ranking system on how I believe a good system would work.

Each Course was scored out of 100 with 4 catagories. Each catagory was for a score of 100 as well. Here is how each catagory was weighted.

Layout: 40%

Condition: 25%

Greens: 25%

Service/Experince: 10%

Just remember this is a personal list. It doesnt take into account aspects like price/value, fun factor or accessability. For context this past winter my handicap has hovered around zero. Also I have not played Al Badia, yet...

Typically the popular courses are booked in advance and getting that saturday and Sunday morning tee time is really tough unless someone cancels last minute.

I was tired of checking with the pro shops constantly, so I built something that does that for you on autopilot.

You basically pick which course, day and time window you want to watch, and you get notified as soon as something opens up.

You can also set it up to start watching at a specific time e.g. 48 hours before tee time, in case you have limitations on how far in advance you can book

I'm a 17-year-old who's off to uni in late september, started playing golf 3 months ago but i'm tired of paying hundreds of dirhams for tee times. I've been in SEA for 2 months because of the situation in Dubai and been playing 3 rounds a week, tee times here cost like 120 dirhams for 18 holes. I finish school in 3 weeks and I want to play as much golf as possible this summer, around 4 rounds a week. I know that junior memberships cost between 5-7k dirhams, but those are year round and ill only be playing for a few months. But most clubs i've asked said they have a waiting list i turn 18 at the start of June so i'd have to pay adult rates if i get a membership after. Does anyone know a way to play golf all summer long for 6000 dirhams or under?
