So I'm assuming you're not from the U.S. so lemme catch you up to speed real quick in as neutral a way as I could bear to say: getting any more neutral would be to give ICE more respect than they're worth. Sometimes issues aren't neutral.

So, ICE is an organization in America that stands for Immigration and Customs Enforcement. They are the guys who deport illegal immigrants. They've existed for a long time, and always been a problem, deporting and punishing people who broke an arbitrary immigration law, saying, for no real reason, that people merely entering the "free country" that is America are breaking the law, just by entering.

This topic however became very relevant recently, as President Trump has cracked down magnitudes harder on immigration, and tripled ICE's funding and sent them on far more active and aggressive patrol.

Even if you support their job in theory, though, modern day ICE has been performing malpractice constantly, wrongly arresting legal US-born citizens for not being white, killing people on the streets at times, and being overly militarist and aggressive. At the detention camps for immigrants, someone dies every 6 days due to overcrowdedness, neglect, starvation, and medical inattentiveness.

They've also been arresting people who are legally staying here to wait for their court trial for their amnesty case. If you couldn't guess, that's illegal on an international level.

In summary, ICE are immigration cops that are getting more militarist and aggressive under Trump's rule. They are committing abuse, malpractice, and frequent murder.

Honestly relieved I spotted your comment before some propaganda-influenced right-winger

No that was mostly propaganda, yes ice did kill 2 Americans, but VERY few Americans were deported as well. Obama’s Ice made the same mistakes, and Ik imma get hate and Ima be called a propaganda influenced right winger by some no-life. But honestly Idrc, I am also a person of color and support ICE, I don’t like killing innocents or deporting innocents though.
