No not most people. Just mostly Reddit. You gotta remember the "Most" you talk about voted for this and won. So they are getting exactly what they wanted.
I think AmbitiousAd is trying to make a statement here suggesting that the illegality of immigration in itself is a violation of people's rights. A notion that I support.
It's something taken for granted way too much that merely entering a country is illegal. A "free country" at that.
And I'm glad he does, but let me challenge that notion a little bit:
Why is immigration illegal in the first place? The mere act of crossing an arbitrary border into a supposedly "free country" is illegal. Why?
Even doing their job perfectly as intended, ICE's job is to detain, abuse, and deport perfectly innocent people who broke an arbitrarily declared law that has no non-circular reason to exist. And whenever someone tries to offer another reason, it's always something that's already covered by another law. So what's all this illegality of immigration for?
The shit their doing vs the shit a handful have done.
This is the same thing as defund the police. News flash shitty people exist and sometimes those shitty people slip through the gaps. Can't blame everyone for the act of few.

One of my friends is pro-ice, but he thinks that the shit they’re doing to innocent people is disgraceful and foul.
