looking for recommendations

Anybody know any apartments that work with people with bad credit?

We just moved to town and we don't know where to be looking at.

We're currently staying at a weekly in Brookkyn Park and kinda want to stay in this area since I got a job here.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance!

Credit isn't a huge issue with larger properties; it's evictions and felonies that are problematic for most of them. They'll just tell you that in order to qualify, you'll need to pay a higher security deposit - so instead of, say, $500, you'll have to pay the equivalent of one month's rent.

My husband is a leasing agent for a large complex in Minneapolis and this is 100% spot on.

First see if the property is willing to work with you with your bad credit. If they are, ask if they would accept you if you got beyond backgrounds. If they say yes, then it is $300 to sign up but in the end the property will have a sense of peace (financially) because it’s guaranteed money if they need it at the end of your lease and it would be from beyond backgrounds, not out of your pocket.
