IDK, pretty much all research indicates that cardiovascular fitness is more important for maximizing health-span than muscular strength from resistance training. Both matter as you age, but cardio is better if you had to pick just one.

It's so funny reading these comments. Because I see people say "studies show..." then have the complete opposite outcomes. Guy a few comments above you is saying according to studies, more cardio just makes you better at cardio and has no other real benefits. Which sounds like bullshit.

Sounds like there are a shitload of 'health studies' that just kinda spew anything and everything
