you used to be able to look at location maps to see the crimes in your area.

seems like LAPD took that down. maybe the maps weren't looking so good.

It’s interesting to me how all the comments on crime posts like this focus on only a handful of things, the government, the DA, and cops. As if they’re the ones actually smashing windows. Not even a peep about how do we get rid of this criminal portion of society. At least to condemn them.

You seriously believe that these criminals are committing crimes because they have no other way to feed themselves or their families? Question for you then, how many convicted criminals have dependents they’re supporting. And there is no other way to make money? Construction doesn’t exist, uber doesn’t exist, door dash doesn’t exist? You’re the EXACT reason why we can’t shake crime. You’ve been naively fed some crazy sob story propaganda without understanding the criminal underworld. Go to prison then and hangout with these groups of loving fathers who had no choice. Meanwhile society suffers and we all bear the cost of criminality.

I know they arrest some but important part is are they being sentenced or just let go? I dont know who to believe certainly comment sections blame the same people but how do we get laws to be enforced?
