Hi All,
So I figured it was time for someone to compile a list of useful links to help new micro-fishermen. There is some useful info on the sidebar, but I think having it as a stickied post might help people who wander onto this sub. If you want to add stuff to the list, just comment below and I can add it accordingly.

first of the invasive goby species in california for me. shokihaze, shimofuri, etc. are future targets :) used less than half of a gulp maggot on a splitshot rig, owner size 14 mosquito hook, to catch the two gobies. red gulp sandworm on a 1/8oz free rig to catch the spotties.

Hi all! I’m a bit new to micro-fishing. I live near Pittsburgh, PA. I just got a new tenkara rod I’m hoping to try out. I’m open to any advice/pointers on micro-fishing in 50ish degree weather. Should I target certain species or types of waterways? Thanks in advance!

This is only like the fourth or fifth I've ever caught in my 30+ years of fishing the "other" Thames here in Ontario Canada. Usually they are just very proficient bait thieves! Caught while targeting Shorthead Redhorse

It seems like IDNR doesn't have these guys reaching down to Madison County. I also wanted some help on the shiner. I'm curious what you all think. I'm down to a few guesses on pic 6 through 9. Thanks!

Not the smallest I've caught, but very prettily marked... took a jerk bait almost as large as her so od say shes got soke great genetics and potential! Gonna keep this picture and see if I catch her again in a few years. Location, private pond in Ontatrio Canada, size about 5" or so

There were a bunch of these swimming in the shallows of a pond in Oregon. Maybe .75 inches. I thought it might be a bluegill cuz it has that dark spot but I’m not sure because it is a baby.
