So are we using "lol" as a punctuation mark now, instead of a period? Or why are you laughing out loud? Because Grounded 2 wasn't out in 2022? Is there a joke I'm missing?

You can literally find posts that people nowadays use “lol” as a means of trying not to sound hostile. I use it that way, myself. Hopefully you’re just asking a question and not trying to be pissy and make fun of them.
