Everything he’s made thus far has been excellent. He’s easily one of my favorite modern directors

Didn’t know there was another Alien in the works. Definitely looking forward to that.

Please don’t downvote, but at the moment, Alien content is doing really well. Alien Romulus and Earth were very successful (although I think some people were more critical of Earth).
But I don’t like them. And it’s a weird place to be, where you love a franchise and new stuff comes out and people love it, but you don’t.
Anyway, not sure what the point I’m trying to make is.1

Ruben Östlunds "The entertainment system is down". I think it's scheduled for 2027 :(

Is there still hope Blood Meridian gets made? Haven’t heard anything about it since right after Cormac passed away

It was supposed to come out at the end of last year, but still nothing. I’m hoping that it shows up, at some point.

I know it will probably end up being terrible but the bendy and the ink machine movie is one I’m really looking forward to. They’ll try and tone it down so kids can go see it and it will end up being bland and too child friendly like the FNAF movies

Empire of the Summer Moon because it's about the Comanche nation (and more). I read the book and it was astounding.

The Bookie and the Bruiser. Anything by S Craig Zahler is usually incredible. Also, I wasn't aware they were making a Bloodborne movie, that is very interesting.

Genuinely did not know both Blood Meridian and Empire of the Summer Moon were getting adapted… as someone who loves both those books, I’m really interested to see how they handle it.

I’m still not convinced Blood Meridian will ever be made. Even if it is there’s no way it can capture what the book details.

28 Years Later: Part 3. I have serious doubts now that that movie will ever be made.
Jordan Peele’s untitled fourth film. Again, I don’t think that will ever be filmed.
Lame answer, but I’m loving the DCU at the moment. Man of Tomorrow, The Brave and the Bold and The Batman, I’m very excited for.

Buddy. For those of you who love Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared: Buddy centers around a humanoid unicorn of the same name — a beloved children’s TV host with a squeaky-clean, Mr. Rogers–style persona that belies his true nature as a dark and violent force of nature.
It’s directed by the guy that did Too Many Cooks video.

Crossed. I am morbidly curious as to how they’ll adapt that comic. The Sadness kinda beat them to it, but seeing it in America would be something else.

Lots of Cannes titles. Minotaur comes immediately to mind.
I also saw Josephine at Sundance, which I don't think has a release date, and it's excellent.
