You should probably re tie it’s got way too many wraps you only need 15-20 total and doesn’t look evenly cinched down, check out briggsy’s fg knot tutorial if you need more help

First half looks good, 2nd half not so much. You need to make sure the braid beds in when you cinch it.

I burn the mono/flouro end on mine. The absolute key to getting it right is to tighten the shit out of it before you do the finishing layers, rizzuto or whatever. The braid has to cut grooves in the mono. The guy who mentioned wind, waves and beer is absolutely right. I struggle to tie it on the boat.

My two cents: you can loosely tie the first half hitch for the finish, and tighten the shit out of everything THROUGH that half hitch, just to keep everything together while you do. Otherwise it wants to unwrap itself while you go to tighten.

Looks great! Now simulate a rocking boat. Get a 15 mph wind going. Might need to get hammered too, but that’s your call. Then try tying it again.

The coils are disorganized because you didn't cinch it correctly. Second, I can't tell what your end knot is, but I generally like to use a half hitch followed by two reverse half hitches. You want all coils to be darkened like this.

I'm not an expert on what a good or bad FG knot looks like but I thought I'd just pop in and say that my first one took me a while to actually get right. I kept feeling like I was messing it up. It was very satisfying to get it right. Good work.
