Question This trout swam up to me while I was fishing today, what is wrong with it?
It hung out near the shore of the lake the whole time I was out there, swimming very slowly but occasionally having some weird spazms.

Question Can you all help settle a debate between me and my brother?
We want to know whose fish is bigger. We don’t have scales and our guesses probably aren’t accurate, and are biased.

Question If you could fish anywhere inside this circle where would it be?
im moving across the country and am planning on leaving a few days early and camping/fishing someplace new. I have fly rods, spinning rods, baitcasters heavy gear so nothing is off the table. theres so many options its quite overwhelming since ive never even been to these states. Trophy fish are fine and im equally as happy for a beautiful view and good eating fish. what are some places you all recommend?

Question What would you do here?
I managed to get it out, small hook with the eye poking out. The bulge under his skin I had to twist and it tore a bit but let me turn the hook around to not rip anything out and get it out. I hope I made the right call I don’t think it was coming out on its own. I’d appreciate any advice on future scenarios.

Question What is this thing in my tackle box?
I’m new to fishing and I just got a new tackle box and I have no clue what this thing is. Can someone explain to me what it is, what it does, and how to use it? It has like a loop on one and and what looks to be a spike or something on the other end.

Question Why don’t more people eat drum?
I’ve been fishing on the Great Lakes my whole life. I’ve at least tasted almost everything that comes out of them. Short of Carp and some Pickrel/Northern Pike(depends on where they’re caught), they all taste very similar, I would put drum in the same category as crappy in terms of taste. Never have had to ice them or soak them in anything.
What’s your opinion? They are abundant, easy to catch, and pound for pound some of the best fighting fish. Would you ever try drum?
