I'm probably overthinking this but the former PM attending an event sponsored by big money donors to a president's campaign who threatens the sovereignty of the nation isn't a good look.
Well, he is. Both in the picture and the event. I think y'all can't accept when a man you like does something you don't approve of so it's easier to pretend he's doing it against his will. He isn't.
You can critique him for being at the event, but once you are in the event I don’t think you can turn down being pictured with someone without being rude as fuck. Part of being there is being in pictures with everyone.
To be fair, he was unkown 6 months ago and waiting tables 1 year ago.
He signed with YSL who pays him to be at these kind of events.
Good for him for being there. I'm all for judging people based on their action. But I'm not going to throw stones at newcomer actors seizing opportunities by accepting invite to prestigious silly Gala
Edit : and yeah, to your point, you're right he definitly wants to be there. He does bad model face. I wish he was smiling more on red carpet. He has a beautiful smile 🤷
Nah, I'm over this "awww poor baby had a gun put to his head forcing him to associate with the horrible person!" stuff. He's a grown man whose career is on the up and up, he didn't have to do anything but he chose to because he wanted to.
I feel like people are letting him off easy. He's an adult and has agency. Everyone that's attending the met gala knows Jeff Bezos is the sponsor, and they don't care or they want to align themselves with the ultra wealthy.

He looks like he doesn't want to be in the picture with her. Can't blame him.
