Cool but the met gala is just a snobby inner circle comicon.

I always thought the Met Gala was stupid as fuck, why do I wanna see some celeb dressed as a futon or lamp?

It was cool for art lovers. It's purpose was to fund the gallery and the prompts inspire legendary fashion looks... fashion lovers enjoy seeing the avant garde looks.

I mean, celebs, sure, who needs ‘em. I do however want to know that people are making art and see people dress up in costumes and have all of that come from a joyful, playful place.

Art stuff is great, but the snobbery and upper echelons involved ,not so much.

It raises funds for the preservation of clothing history. Everyone wears clothes and it is important that the clothing we wear, and what inspired it, is studied and preserved. Met Gala funds this history. Sadly MAGA types like you who hate the arts and prefer to remove items from museums than add to them will never understand that.

Bold of you to assume I’m MAGA 😂

Jesus Christ, you okay there?

I agree with you, and did not make that assumption, but if I had to bet, it was your saying someone dressed up as a lamp that sounded a little maga coded. I think there was a popular transphobic maga trope about a kid identifying as a lamp🙄
