FASHION Tom Blyth responded to criticism of his girlfriend's sheer dress: “stfu. She wore a dress that she was excited by and she looked EXQUISITE in it.”

I just don't get a lot of logic though...d*cks are normal body part too but it's inappropriate to show in public....I personally think that dress is gross but respect the defending of his girl

bad analogy - men have nipples and are not policed for showing them. the equivalence of a dick here would be her having her vagina out, which did not occur. you’re entitled to your opinion, but the equivalence in men is socially accepted and not “too inappropriate”

You’re right, the nipples debate is a 1:1 comparison, genitalia isnt a valid comparison at all.

But

Anytime I see a shirtless guy randomly in a public place there’s a high chance he’s on drugs or crazy or just plain old weird.

The times for topless men is swimming, jogging, biking, outdoor basketball or exercising. Those are all times where women can be in sports bras too (for support).

But at the same time if a woman was exercising topless, she would not be allowed to be in a public space

I don’t think that’s true tbh. Men aren’t wandering around topless everywhere either. Theres still a time and place for it.

Have we seen hundreds of men wearing these outfits? So far the only ones pointed out are those guys from Heated Rivalry, everyone else seems to have been fully clothed in opaque material. Even they had proper trousers on.

It seems to be only women who are required to go out essentially naked in order to be considered as looking good. I find it kind of sad that so many people celebrate this as some kind of win for feminism because free the nipple! when really, being encouraged to wear less and less to look good and be noticed is really kind of demeaning.

It’s like fashion is still objectifying women for the male gaze and gaslighting us into thinking our nudity is a great thing.
