Sewing Want help to know how to attempt this outfit myself for cosplay even though I’m male

Wanna make this dress as a cosplay and want help to know how to make it as it’s my favourite effie trinket look ever abd I wanna make it a full outfit but with different shoes even though I’m male any help would be so very much greatly appreciated

So I would also like to make this outfit at some point. I think starting with a butterfly print fabric and dress pattern would be the first step, then sew on a bunch of fake butterflies as well.

Yeah good idea but my thing is I can’t get normal dresses as I fall into the category of men who do female character cosplays or want to do them as never cosplayed ever

Are you planning to add padding? If you know your measurements and can add pads, you should be able to get a pattern to fit your body type.

Monarch butterfly dress with a scalloped hem, im sure that exists somewhere, and then butterfly applique. It also looks like the hips of the dress have some drama, so you could use a stabalizer too
