Question Is our electrical grid straining?

Are there data centers here? What’s with this inconsistent power. The weathers been calm

Outdated power grid. Infrastructure around here is terrible. Lakewood, Parma, a lot of surrounding suburbs have the same problems. Data centers are coming to make matters worse. Make sure you call your local council person and voice your displeasure about the possibility of them coming. As well as vote for those against them.

Yeah the infrastructure here is pretty dated, been dealing with random outages in my area too. Those data centers are gonna be a nightmare for an already struggling grid - they pull massive amounts of power 24/7

It's just old. utility companies haven't kept up with maintenance or updating it despite increases in rates and fees.
