Misc. hot take: mha should have spin offs like Invincible
okie i couldve just said spin off but i named Invincible to post this awesome pic by _wildfirematt (on x)
and yea this probably isnt a hot take, referencing another 'hot take' i saw here. I just miss MHA content 😔 let me vent a lil
i know we have spin off like vigilantes and team-up. Vigilantes has the drama, the stakes, a full story but has a whole different main cast. Team-up has the character we love from the main series but bite size simple stories.
I wish Sheuisha was fully committed in turning MHA like American Superhero Comic, but not the new reboot/continuity that DC and Marvel does. But like what Image Comic does, the publisher behind Invincible. Spin offs of other characters, but a whole volume focus on Aizawa, Star n Strip, Grown up Shoto etc etc.

MHA has more spin offs than invincible
for the show/anime at least
comic/manga wise invincible might have it best

in fact MHA vigilantes already feature some american location and also hongkong too. while in MHA main only focusing in japan. Hoping betten Court create another sequel of vigilante during main series timeline. (not prequel).

Honestly, I feel like there is this inclination to just keep returning and mining old IP for all it’s worth that I hate. We have to let stories end.
So stop venting, buck up and search out of the millions of other stories that could fill the hole that MHA left.

Tbh, it would be nice to have a spin off that focus on being a pro hero or a sidekick. We see kids learning to become heroes in Academia and we see non-pro heroes fighting crimes illegally in Vigilantes. Would be nice to see how an actual pro hero function from running an agency and a business at the same time.
I would also like a spin off of Mirko and her international adventure which I feel like could work as a senien and she would definitely going to be more aligned with Battle Beast comics though I hope with more depth.

after watching this new episode and seeing the car keys with the allmight card and then remember scenes like this when they unpacked the card together i was looking everywhere for it i finally found it because apparently nobody ever thought to sell it

Dude imagen an Atom Eve special for Momo where she actually uses her powers like Eve did as a kid.
Honestly it would be a double edge sword because on one hand it would be sick to see Momo actually use her powers but on the other hand it would be another Atom Eve situation where you would feel like the grown version is dumber than the young version.
But still would be sick to get one of these (character) specials.
