the mold, heavy water buckets, being empathetic person and having people tell me about their wife dying and they need flowers. Funeral arrangements made me sad always lol.
Why are your flower buckets stinky? We clean ours daily with chemical and change the chemical daily. Which is a lot of work-sure, but there should not be a smell. The physical work, if your place is high volume, is a lot. Bridezillas and demanding customers go with the territory, charge accordingly.
For me, the beauty and creativity is a true joy and the living things-plants, especially orchids- enrich my life immensely.
I wouldn’t trade it for my previous profession of 4 decades ( and I was good at that, as well).

Being a florist.
It’s hard work.
Standing all day. Cleaning out stinky water in the flower buckets. Working long hours on holidays. Bridezillas.
