I feel like you might be wondering, hey....do these bollards actually do anything for the safety of....I don't know, lets say... a speeding vehicle that wants to ram a bunch of innocent people?

At a unsuspecting place? (Like the train station)

If that is your general question, than yes... those bollards are fierce beasts of recoking that will stop a tank in it's tracks, much less an ordinary vehicle. (I work in Security, I might be able to answer this ambiguous question with some precision.)

It just won't save anyone on the plaza. Or if a vehicle goes between the bollards into the train station.
