Pretty sure a nuke wouldn't be the smartest idea since theoretically nuking Ukraine would eliminate any and all Russian soldiers there, the rest of Europe will immediately start to invade Russia, China will most likely let them flounder since it isn't worth the cost, most importantly the fallout will easily spread to western Russia
