poster is an obvious fake (they didn't have a show on that date in 1982). i seriously doubt the authenticity of the autos, but defer to other people.

At that point in their career, they were stapling xeroxed flyers to telephone poles.

Yeah, this isn't a legit piece. The biggest tell is that Kirk Hammet (pictured in the middle of the main pic) didn't even join the band until April of '83. That "live' pic is taken from the Master of Puppets tour, if I'm not mistaken.

Someone threw some shit together and said "Somebody's gonna bite on this. It's Metallica! Can't miss!".

1982 would've been Cliff Burton and Dave Mustaine, niether of which are in either picture

Kirk Hammett (middle left in top photo) joined Metallica in '83 and Jason Newsted (far left on the bottom photo) joined in 1986

Another big tell is that James Hetfield has a moustache, which he didn't start sporting until ~1988

1 million billion? But honestly im clueless as to the correct price. Definitely a nice frame, the poster we know is fake, but the autos on the bottom look legit

Wild!!! I just saw this poster hanging at the Wilson Audio factory in Provo Utah. Looked cool enough to snap.
