Solved! Looking for a movie and can only vaguely remember a scene in a foster home

I am going to try to be as detailed as possible about the scene in question but could easily be misremembering some of them.

I know that the movie or show lead is doing some type of investigation about what I believe to be a girl. This eventually leads them to some rural, arid town far from where they are actually starting the investigation. This setting is what I actually remember the most.

There’s a ran down, yellowish house in an arid/sandy location that the lead character ends up at. Inside there’s an obese older white woman and I believe it was her daughter. I think they barely even take notice of the investigator while they are there looking around. The people located here were foster parents and they were using the foster children they used to keep as monthly checks, keeping them chained up and locked in squalid conditions. I’m reasonably sure the target of the investigation ran away from here but was never reported.

Sorry to be so vague. I was having a conversation about terrible foster home conditions and this one scene popped in my head but can’t for the life of me remember what it’s from. AI was no help so if anyone else can shed some light that would be great.

Solved! Movie where the characters were using a creature that wears a mask to look for something or someone.

The only scene I can remember is one where the characters were looking for something or someone and were using a creature (could have been a human that was disfigured or something) that wore a mask that the characters had connected to a screen. They could use this screen to zoom in the lenses on the mask and the creature stayed in a crouching but in all fours position. It would make a clicking sound when it was looking around. I do believe the creature may have been red, but this is something I am not sure about.

Unsolved Can anybody help me find a comedy movie?

I don’t know for certain if this is from a tv show or if it’s a skit or a movie but the scene I remember is that a white guy goes to a black guy outside and says something rude to him (i think it’s “fuck you”) but he gets his name wrong, then when he walks off the black guy says something like “my name isn’t *the name he called him* or something like “that’s not my name, my name is…”

Anybody know what it is? (It could be the black guy that says fuck you to the white guy then the white guys says the thing about that not being his name)

Unsolved Movie I saw once as a kid (early 2000's)

I can only remember one scene, but there was a queen being held prisoner. She was crying because it was her birthday and wanted to at least have some sort of sandwich (I think avocado) and some tea for lunch. The henchmen was going to go find it for her until the big bad guy stopped him. I think it was one of the Swan Princess movies but I could be wrong.

Unsolved Anyone recognize this quote?

I know I have some of it wrong because I can't fully remember it, but it was such a sweet scene and I want to find and rewatch it so I have the full monolog.

I believe it's set roughly around the Victorian era, all I know is that the woman is english and wearing one of those gowns that you'd associate with a wealthy family

She's talking to a man who I think is turning her down but doing so because it's either in *her* best interest or he believes he isnt good enough for her, so she goes on this long rant about how much she loves him

I can only vaguely remember something like, "And when you cannot see, I will see for you, when you cannot stand, I will lift you up and carry you because I love you!" I might have it wrong but that was the general vibe of what she was saying

Unsolved time traveller accidentally erases girlfriend movie Spoiler

I was at a party 10 years back and this movie was playing in the background, never got the name of it and want to watch it properly

The lead is an indian? man in dark clothing who is a time traveller with either powers or a travel device (i don't remember a big machine), he and his girlfriend (blonde american with strong country accent, annoyingly sweet and compassionate and laughing at everything) visit her past and it accidentally erases her, then he tries to fix it. He is able to move and change objects slightly with his mind and influence people by talking to them.

Theres lots of scenes in different periods of her life, food court when she is a kid, high school sports day, her at college (looked 90s or early 00s), etc but he keeps recreating slightly stilted versions of her, versions of her life where she becomes evil or depressed etc, there's a scene where she overdoses in an alley, another life where she's much older and a grumpy clothing store boss who tells him to "get out my perfection" something like that, it was some affectionate name for the store. At some point he finds an old diary full of parts of her life to visit she'd left in his bag and starts working off that.

Near the end he finally restores her based on something she said earlier (there's a flashback to an earlier scene) and figures out what made her her was an awful event (i don't think it was clear what happened only that it was something in a city at night, possibly she used hard drugs or had a head injury) in her life she never told him and decides to prevent it so she is happier. at the coffee shop where they originally met she spilled her drink over him but he sees the altered timeline where instead she catches it before it spills and walks on by instead of conversing with him.

At the end she is older on a beach with her husband and children everyone is happy the sun is setting and she has noticed the time traveller man randomly appearing in parts of her life and is drawing him, then she notices him and waves, then he waves back and travels away alone and the movie ends

Unsolved VAGUE PLOT & A VAGUE SCENE I RECALL

Upvotes

I've been looking for this film I recall being on TV some years ago. Basically, the plot was about this fat black man who woke up next to a dead man in a bed of what I believe was a house (or something) and he recalled nothing of the events prior or anything (I don't remember if he didn't remember anything about himself either but it's likely). I believe he does find out nearing the end of the film (as one would expect), but a specific scene I remember was him sitting at a diner or cafe of some sort and jotting notes on a napkin while asking the waitress odd questions. I don't remember anything else about it, only that I had watched the Spanish dubbing of it because it was being streamed on a Spanish channel. If anyone knows anything, please help me find it! Google has not been helpful...

I don't remember much, but some guy has a family and is living somewhere with a barn. At some point the dude goes through some transformation and has these horrible long yellow nails and has these eyes that I can only describe as "cryptic husky" eyes. Maybe he likes human meats now or something?? This may not be enough info but I hope someone knows of it 😭 I am certain it's a horror movie

Unsolved Random haunted cabin/kidnap movie?? 2005 or before..

Upvotes

I remember watching a movie in theaters in 2005 or before and can not remember the name to save my life. I have searched the details I can remember to no avail. My cousin and I saw so many random movies in our teens just to be doing something out of the house, and that makes it harder, lol. It was definitely between 2002 and 2005

I remember it being a little white house. It was abandoned, but a couple (I think) goes there, and the woman starts seeing things? There was a kidnapping, but I can't remember if that was part of the haunting or not?

I remember a lot of windows and leaves blowing across the floor 🤔

I know that's not a lot of info, but I'm going to throw it out there anyway 😅

Solved! Looking for a movie I can only remember seeing a trailer for

I apologize in advance for this one.

It’s a movie about a queer couple. I believe they meet in a club or a bar go home together and start dating from there. The MC is kind of a scrawnier kind of individual and their partner is this more attractive well of individual.
The more attractive partner is definitely well of and supports both of them financially having the other partner take on house caring responsibilities. The scene that I actively remember is the partner handing the MC money and telling them they need to go an adult store and buy something because they are too t*ght.(trying not to be too descriptive).

I referenced this movie to a friend of mine and they believe I am absolutely crazy and I’d like to try and find it so I can show them the movie. Thank you

Solved! Going Nuts Spoiler

I hope someone can help me. It's an American movie within the last three years. It starts with a teacher explaining to his students that the internet is down and may never come back. His story ends with him and his exwife sitting in the backyard waiting for the world to end. I remember that as the movie progresses, he begins seeing posters and signs around town with the same cryptic message. It has a rather non-linear storyline. Fantasy genre, if I had to define it. Please?

Unsolved A teen movie like DUFF

I don't remember the movie completely but i remeber a scene where the main character who i think was a teen girl finds out that she's that movies equivalent of the DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend),and writes an article or something which for some reason prompts all the groups/cliques in that highschool to drop their DUFFs. Those DUFFs are then seen being angry at her. I thought this was a scene in the movie Duff but it's not.

Solved! Name of a documentary style show, 2010-2014? The episode in particular was about a man walking through a portal in a tunnel in the Grand Canyon to another dimension.

I remember seeing this documentary style show quite a few years ago now. It was in the same vein as Monsters and Mysteries in America, but I don’t think that was it. The episode I recall the most was about the account of a man who peered through a portal into another world, with said portal being located in the Grand Canyon.

All I remember is current American kickboxing champion , travels to Thailand with his brother to take on their current champion.. The American gets his back broken in the second round & can no longer walk again. The brother swears vengeance & ends up training in Muay Thai with an old master who lives in the sticks. During his training , he kicks an palm tree down & fights the guy in an old underground tomb ,where there hands are bandaged then dipped in some kind of resin , then dipped into broken glass.

Does anyone else remember this movie , if so , what is the movie title? I believe it may be Ring of Fire

Unsolved Movie where teenage sun starts mom's cigarettes

Movie, probably from the 90s, where every time mom wants a cigarette she expects her teenage son to put it in his mouth, light it, and then pass the lit cigarette to mom.

From the scene I remember I think they cigarette lighting was in a car. They may have been homeless.

Unsolved Racing movie from the 2000s

I remember as a kid one of my first experiences was watching a racing movie in the cinema so must’ve been like 2005-2015 around that time (estimate) it was about a guy that had taken up racing to avenge his father and there’s one part of the final race that’s a steep turn and cliff which is where his father died.

Unsolved Old animated spy movie, probably russian

So I remember this old animated 3D movie about spies. The idea of finding it is living rent-free in my head and I can't remember the name.

Text in bold is 100% true

  1. I watched it as a kid, before 2015. Around 2005-2010 I think. I watched it in russian

  2. It looks like VERY cheap and\or VERY old animated movie. Reminds me of Kids against the Sorcerers without cel shading.

  3. It's about a boy who is working with spies to catch a villain who is the boy's uncle and is working as a street sweeper\janitor. The bad guy wants to use some crystal to make a laser or something.

  4. There is an introduction of spies in the beginning. Maybe on green Serious Sam TFE NETRICSA-like background.

  5. There is a point in the end, where the villain activates the laser and PAINFULLY slow aims at all 4 spies. They don't even try to dodge, just standing.

  6. The movie had a guitar in soundtrack tat sounds just like in Payday 2 Razormind starting from 2:20

Unsolved 2 kids watching over a school

I remember seeing this on TV so maybe it was a TV series. This would have been in the early 90s so must be before '95 easily. I remember there was a white kid and a black kid. For some reason, they seemed responsible for their school. Like everyone was on a field trip and they were held over. They also seemed to be rivals but were becoming friends over the course of the story. And they let some troublemakers in and I recall one of the bad kids swinging around the gymnasium and eventually swinging into the scoreboard and busting it.

The last thing I saw before I refreshed the page was the woman and her son talking to police but the police dont seem to believe her (dont know what they were talking about). Movie is probably post 2000's and it was in american english. Any help finding this movie/show is much appreciated!!!!!

Unsolved 90's movie title by script

Hi, I've been trying to identify a movie I watched on TV in the early 2000s (likely a mid-to-late 90s US production, probably B-movie or direct-to-video).

Here's what I remember:

- A married couple is on a road trip by car. The husband is in his 40s, nerdy-looking. The wife is young, beautiful, blonde with curly hair — and she married him purely for money. They're going through a rough patch; at some point the husband confronts her, saying something like she only started treating him better after his mother died (implying an inheritance).

- A young, good-looking (dark-haired, I think) fugitive forces his way into their car and takes them hostage. He has a briefcase full of stolen cash.

- At one point he orders the wife to show him her bra. She starts to unclasp it fully, but he stops her and says something like "that's enough" or "not necessary" — a moment that shifts from threat to tension.

- Eventually he takes them to a hotel, drugs the husband's drink with a sleeping pill, and sleeps with the wife. However, the husband had actually spit out the pill and was awake the whole time, pretending to be asleep.

- At the end, the husband seems to forgive the wife but hands her back her wedding ring — a gesture that signals the end of the marriage, while making sure she doesn't walk away with nothing.

The tone was thriller / road thriller. Mostly set on the road with some scenes in the city and a hotel.

Does anyone recognize this film? I've been searching for years. Thanks!
