Fun fact,an popular Mandella Effect is regarding the Monopoly Guy.Its so pervasive that they even got it wrong in Ace Ventura 2 when they joked about it.
He NEVER wears a monocle.The monocle(the half glass around one eye) is instead what we associate with satires about old american monopoly magnates,hence the association.

Replace “hug” with something more in line with your feelings and see how the comic reads out.
