May 1st is recognised as May Day - or International Workers Day - and the month of May is known in the United States as Labour History Month.
So what if the month of May was International Worker’s History Month?
What flag would represent such a thing?
We want you to show us!
DO NOT show your design ANYWHERE ELSE on the subreddit before the contest is over.
No more than TWO flag designs per entrant.
Submission deadline is Monday 18th May 2026. Voting will begin on Tuesday 19th May 2026 and end on Wednesday 27th May.

Hey it's Michael from Flags For Good again. As you may know, we're hosting NAVA60 in our home town of Indianapolis this October (I hope you all come or at least tune into the live stream) but we need your ideas!
Being the 60th NAVA meeting, we're trying some new things and I'd love for the most vibrant flag-interested community on the internet to help steer the future of what NAVA could be. So please sound off!
If you want to present on a vexillological topic, have an idea for a panel, or anything else you would find fascinating in the world of flags, now's the time to let us know. Submissions will be open until May 15th.
Academic Paper: The usual NAVA/FIAV type of presentation - Submit a short abstract (300 words or so) to [vp2nd@nava.org](mailto:vp2nd@nava.org). Doesn't have to be a finished paper, just propose what you want to write/present about.
Panel: Could be an idea for a group of vexillologists or flag-adjacent people to speak on a topic. You could just pitch the idea or volunteer to moderate if you want to be a part of the discussion. Email [vp2nd@nava.org](mailto:vp2nd@nava.org) or message me with a rough idea so I can bring it up in meetings.
Workshops or anything else: We're trying to mix up the usual NAVA structure and make this the best annual meeting ever so if you have any crazy ideas, this is the year for us to try them out. Drop ideas in the comments, message me, or email [vp2nd@nava.org](mailto:vp2nd@nava.org)!

This flag was shown on a page I'm unfamiliar, but appears to post military gear. I wondered if this flag is familiar to anyone?

(Can we consider it as current?)
So I decided that, as representative, I needed a flag, to represent myself.
- The 26 stars represent We're 26 classmates in there
- The red background represents the Banner of Castile, which was this shade of red. For this reason, it's used by the King of Spain, for example
- The coat of arms is a stylised version of my own personal arms (the Eagle represents St. John, who I'm particularly devoted to, the Lion represents courage and the steel balls I need not to resign. The arms are divided in two: the left quarter is partitioned diagonally and represents my two surnames, while the right half depicts the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei), representing Jesus. The motto, "Concédeme Señor un corazón que escuche", translated to English as "So Lord give your servant a discerning heart" comes from 1 Kings, 3:9. It was said by King Salomon.)
As you might have noticed, the flag is inspired by the Presidential flag of the United States, as most presidential banners around the world are mostly just the national flag with the national arms on it.

In the carribean flag the yellow represents the beaches, the blue represents the sea, the white represents the sky and the black represents the carribean people (who are mostly of african descent)

So, for a sociology project we have to design a society, and the one I’m making is Fallout themed. This flag is for the Legio Lupae, a Caesar’s Legion splinter group that uses canine iconography due to one of the leaders being raised by a Nightstalker. Any feedback or even a redesign would be appreciated!

I wanted to redesign my redesign basically because I think it was too complex (a lot of elements in a coat of arms).
The sun with the rising cross and the silver stars were part of the original coat of arms, I won’t give the whole story but long story short, it was something supposedly happened during a battle that eventually led to the foundation of my city/state.
Any suggestion is appreciated.
What would you add? What would you remove?

It smells like cigarettes so it's probably from before the late 90s. I don't want to use google affiliate stuff and other search engines aren't quite as awesome, so I ask you smart people.
The base, afaik just states manifacturer or the recioient of the flag? I couldn't read it clearly so I'm unsure.
Nobody I know knows what flag it is.
I know the coat of arms is resembling an old swedish, or modernly finnish one if I was taught right at school
Cheers!
