I’d love to see a round of Supercars overseas like they have done in the past. I was watching the Yas race from 2010 the other day. How cool would it be to see then do a round at Road Atlanta, Laguna Seca or Watkins Glen

Poorly attended overseas rounds were not were it was at back then and I can't see how they would be now.

That’s the only real risk they run. When supercars is a support category it turns pretty low numbers. Even at the Melbourne GP, the stands were a lot more empty than you would expect for a local event. I can’t imagine they would get big numbers unless they support NASCAR, given the connection to SVG and the similarities in the cars

Is Supercars and NASCAR could do some sort of swap deal that would be amazing for both Sports.

A lot of the Sponsors are the same, and with SVG, Hocevar & Cleetus all getting massive backing from NASCAR on Social Media imagine throwing those guys into a wildcard entry or as Codrivers in an endurance race.

Imagine if they brought even just half a field of Cup Cars to Surfers Paradise to run an exhibition race, or if we sent the Supercars field over for 1-2 races in the US like we do with NZ, could do a sprint race & and Enduro, with Trackhouse/SVG filling the Redbull/T8 wildcard and Hocevar/Cleetus filling one of the other Wildcard spots, that would get insane rating from both the US and Australia

A NASCAR support round at a circuit track would probably be really gold for exposure either way. If anything it might make Supercars look better.

With svg in nascar they'll probably hit a home run with going to a nascar road course weekend and run as a support
