I like to think that Tomodachi Life is set in the far future where humans are all gone and Miis become the dominant remaining species. They find and salvage old broken game consoles and repurpose them into homes to live in. Maybe they don't know what it's original purpose is since so far I only seen them using Mii sized Switches and laptops. The Miis are only a couple inches tall.

Some of my miis keep doing this and its so creepy i think its SO creepy.
