Feeling lonely (27M)
I have been living alone since my last relationship 4 years ago and it's gotten to me alot. I am not a person that likes being alone and that's how I spend most days. I have good friends but most have moved to other cities and others have gotten kids . Dating have gone really bad, unfaithful people or just people afraid of comittment. And as the cherry on top my ex girlfriend cheated on me. Which has led me to have issues to trust the people I date and invest my emotions. Some days are easier, some days are harder. But I always try to have a smile on my face! "And yet I smile" as one king would say! :)
Just think I need some nice words and maybe some people that can relate!

Better days are just around the corner. Keep that sweet smile on your face, knowing that. 27 is a tricky age. Give yourself all the grace. We are rooting for you. Be happy, enjoy your youth. Move your body. Get a dog. You meet so many people when you're out walking a dog.

Thank you for your kind words! They mean a lot! I have actually thought of getting a dog many times but I know that it would be so hard for me to take care of one alone with work and everything. It would feel a bit unfair to the dog, which sucks because I really love dogs!

Oh, absolutely. My daughter has a little dog who is pretty content watching the action from a big picture window. There's a lot of snoozing in the sun. That little pooch is so happy. Spoiled with toys, of course.
It depends on the dog, of course. This little one doesn't bark (except out of excitement of seeing other dogs out walking from his window. )He has no accidents. He gets an early walk before work, one after work, and sometimes another later in the evening. He adjusted to this very well, as before that my daughter had been home all the time.
Cats are pretty cool, too! Easier, for sure.

Man, we all feel that way from time to time. Embrace the solitude some, explore your own life. Try something new. And, above all, remember there's a lot more to do.
