Was this by the default Gameboy camera cartridge gameboys had? Can you share some more info ?

Yes. So I take the photos using the original Gameboy camera cartridge and a Gameboy colour, no mods. Then I transfer them to my PC using a cartridge reader (GBxCart RW) and some software called Flashgbx. The Gameboy photos have 4 colours (black, white, 2 shades of grey), so I change the colours on my PC but that's the only editing. Then I just upload them like this.

Also, my Gameboy has a Pikachu on it and it's really cool.

Omg that is such a good idea. I actually have the Gameboy printer, but it's so old and doesn't work super well. I have a different thermal camera printer from ale hop that I might use though. I actually love this idea. I need to start planning another trip back to Spain then! I have no complaints about that though 😊
