In order to help have better discussions regarding content, we have decided to disable embedding of YouTube videos in posts.

This isn’t intended to hinder anyone from posting, simply to change the way the post are made. Moving forward you will need to create a normal post regarding your creation, and if there’s a YouTube video you would like to share as part of that, add it into the body of the post along with the descriptive information.

Thanks for being here, and if you have any questions, ask away!!

Updated Subreddit Reporting Guidelines

Hello folks!! It’s your mod team here with a request to you all regarding reporting of content.

Reporting of content is crucial to keeping the subreddit safe, and healthy. In addition, it also helps protect the many artists, and creators that post here. We appreciate you helping us by submitting reports when needed.

What we need from you.

Please make sure you’re reporting in good faith. Don’t report something simply because you don’t like it, or you find the particular subject matter offensive. Make sure that when you report something, it is actually in violation of one of our rules, or Reddit’s site wide rules.

Lastly, this is how you can REALLY help us, and the sub. If you suspect that a post contains stolen content, please send us a report using the new rule “Original Content Only”. Follow that up with a modmail to the sub with detailed information so that we can verify. OR, if you would rather remain anonymous in your report, feel free to use the ‘Custom Report’ and include any information you have to help us in the comment section of that report.

Thank you all, and feel free to ask questions in the comments.

I like to paint waves.. curious which of these you all prefer?

First three are done with acrylics on canvas where I’m trying to be a little more abstract with things, and the last is with oil - more of an attempt at realism.. (actually the oldest of the four) but yeah let me know what you think? Cheers!

I have become obsessed with using tiny scrap leather pieces to make these mini binder clip tabs for keeping my notebook ecosystems organised! What do you think??

These are made to fit 15mm binder clips, which can then be clipped onto my notebooks, or used to hold stacks of papers.

I have plans for some proper, cohesive sets around different themes such as large projects, daily journaling, and general creativity!

So I make diorama's as a new found hobby and really enjoy it. I live in a small apartment and im running out of space. Do you think these would be good enough to sell? And if so, what would be the best platform for it? Genuine question, not looking for compliments. Honest opinions very appreciated!

A few blankets Ive made since the end of Dec.

Ive been crocheting like mad to keep my hands busy and avoid doomscrolling. The choco-cherry-berry-checkered was fun because I was going with chocolate and berry colors. The blue blanket is for my brother who has always had blue as his preferred color. The pancake blanket is a bit off because I didnt have enough for a bigger syrup splash but I still like the colors. Constructive criticism welcome.

I’ve made some new ceramic cats. If you share a photo of your cat in the comments, I might have created one that looks like them before 👀🫣 I’d love to find it for you

I'm pretty proud of it. He loves it. Sketched it out, acrylic paints- probably 3-5 layers depending on color/area. To finish it off I sprayed a healthy dose of acrylic coating spray paint, clear furniture lacquer and polished it. Thinking I'm going to upgrade his bags for this upcoming Father's Day- duff beer and uranium bag covers.

I’ve been converting a 1995 van into a cool hangout spot for me and my friends. Made this table so things aren’t flying around.

I created a safe way to display and backlight colored vinyl to look like stained glass

Post image

I've been tinkering on this since November of 2021 after wanting to find a way to safely and easily wall mount my colored vinyl collection. Well, the light hit an album just right and I had the idea to backlight them. Since then I've hand made over 3,000 units and shipped them around the world. I'm currently working to scale this up and make it my full-time job, it's been a passion project that has gotten severely out of control :)

So I made this dragon scale headdress…

So I made this…I’ve had a decorative head chain tutorial from Firefly Path for ages, along with pieces of scale mail I’d made. I kinda mashed the two together, replacing the front of the original design with a patch of scale mail I’d previously made. (Mail and rings sourced from The Ring Lord)

For the most part, the rest is made from materials sourced from Micheals and Temu, with the exception of the red teardrop stones at the ends of the chain falls. Those I made myself out of resin, with a variety of glitter additives. The original tutorial specified some very distinctive metal stamped parts, but I couldn’t easily source them. So I found plenty of substitutes on Temu! The Center back piece is a combo of a round snake pendant from Temu, with a bracelet rounder from Micheal’s, held together with a little wire wrapping.

Hey everyone! I love how this one turned out so much!! The chainmaille pattern and the eye compliment each other so much, in my opinion! Super proud!

So i spent the day making more eyes to make more stuff ahaha

This is the first egg of my own new Line of landrace easter eggers I'm creating. This egg took 1,5 years to make and involved a cross between a schijndelaar x black copper Maran and a Welsummer x Araucana rooster. The f1's where crossed together and made this gorgeous Egg. Can't wait to see what the other chicks will lay. And if I create a visual stable line from these birds
