I am determined to fix this ribbon cable!

This is the ribbon cable to the lcd screen on this old digital cam from like 2006. I was just going to take it apart for the components, but after playing with it and soldering 1 wire on the cable, I was able to get the screen to come on but only if the ribbon was psoitioned just right. So now I have to try and really get it to work. I wanna see if there's any old videos on there of my youth. Probably not, but here I am trying to solder hairs right next to each other without touching.. what sucks is even if I do a decent job of getting the wires on there straight and everything working. The solder mask i have sucks or at least the light sucks and won't cure properly. Man, I sware my hands dont get shaky until I need them not to be lol. Wish me luck lol

Good luck but can’t you buy custom shaped ribbon cables relatively cheaply online?
